I'm looking at going on the last week of November. Is there a good site to find last minute deals? I really enjoy shark diving and have gone to Tiger Beach on the Dolphin Dream and loved it. I just came back from Sipadan in May, and that was incredible, and also went to Guadalupe and dove with the Great Whites.

I'd really like to dive with hammerheads.

Any ideas on liveaboards that are reasonable in price with any last minute discounts?

Thank you!!

I would contact operators directly. The one time I tried it (last minute) I lucked into a great room/deal & trip on the Nai'a.
Have fun.

I would suggest trying contacting various Galapagos, Cocos, and Socorro operators to see if they have any spaces left. Big schools of hammers in all those places.

A bit off topic, but to OP, didn't you dive with any hammerheads in Sipadan? I know it can be kind of a catch as catch can, but we dove with hundreds of hammerheads and a couple of mantas off Sipadan.

I was hoping for hammerheads, but we didn't see any. We did see lots of white tip, reef sharks, turtles, barracuda, blue ringed octopus, and flamboyant cuttlefish! Still on the search for those hammerheads at a price at I can afford. I really would like to do Cocos, but $5500 for a liveaboard is a little out of my budget. Trying to find something in the $2000 range.

Carib Dancer is $1695quad/1895double + $100 in fees - diving the Bahamas Out Islands from Nassau. Should see a lot of reef sharks but IDK about Hammerheads. They have availability the week of 11/24. Flights might be more reasonable. Besides a direct flight look at flying to FLL then Bahamasair over. My buddy saved some doing that to Carib Dancer a few years ago - at the time they were out of Exuma - different boat. I'm fairly certain you can arrive pretty late on Saturday as they don't go until the next morning - but verify it.

Lahaina Divers does Hammerhead day trips to Molokai from Maui. http://www.lahainadivers.com/content/hammerhead-diving

Hi Divergirl28, I discovered a new liveaborad dive site offering Lastminute deals in the Maldives - www.Liveaboards.com
I really liked their animated google map itinerary - very cool indeed.

We've got some last minute prices here in Thailand for November. There aren't any hammerheads, though.
