last minute cayman accomodations

I just received an email from some friends who have decided at the last minute to try to go diving in GC the week of Jan 15. My wife and I are going to be there that same week and we're all set at Cobalt Coast, but I doubt that they have any more room for our friends at this late date.

Any suggestions for how they might go about finding a place to stay (they have airfare). At this point I'm not sure what is open and other friends have been telling me that travel agents are not always up to speed on what has re-opened either.

Have you asked Cobalt Coast if they have room, or just guessing they don't? Just shoot them an email and ask.
