you just come back from there, nowdays is not like almost two years before.
At Semporna/mabul things have changed, more divings, more accomodations offers I found last time I went, actually I found a lot of differences in Semporna itself from Aug 2006 to Dec 2007!!
believe me, Aug 2006 it was not nice walking in Semporna and beside Dragon Inn (to be avoided!!) and Seafest there were no other decent accomodation.
I also was going to be back there for third time last August, but I've been told of situation of permissions and nobody could give the guarantee to go to Sipadan more then one day in a week. NOWAY to pay such a lot of money to stay in Mabul on other hand prices have arised, Petrol fault they say..... last August was more expensive then this year!! So I've been to Thailand.... I hope to go there again Feb or May/June when schools are opened and most of people at work.
