On June 29, 2013 three divers made a dive to place potted chara plants and to collect biomass samples for analysis by limnologists at the University of Nevada, Reno and the University of California, Davis.
The same divers made a dive on September 8, 2013 to retrieve the potted chara plants and to collect more biomass samples for the lab.
