Nice weekend at the quarry. Plenty of room to spread out on the platforms as it was not very crowded despite gorgeous weather.
Temp at the surface was 57.
1st Thermocline was about 15’
Temp at 60’ was a brisk 48.
Visibility was great at the plane. 40 feet at least. First time I’ve ever seen the outline of the plane from just below the surface!
Elsewhere viz was 15-20.
Students did great despite the layers of rubber.

Cool. I was there with a couple others on Sunday. While not toasty, I thought the water was noticeably warmer down to ~30’ than when I was there in mid-March.

While the visibility wasn’t great, it was much better than when I was there two weeks ago. There were a few spots that the vis opened up to close to ~30’ for us. It was mostly ~15’-20’ for us too though.
