Did two 45 minute dives near the banks of Shady Grove Camp Ground. Surface temp 80, temp at 50ft was 58. Viz at surface 3ft viz around 50ft was 4-8ft. Wind from the east blowing, waves 2-3ft. Not the keys, but still had a good time.

Did you come up with anything? Well now I know what to expect this weekend. It looks like we are staying around Lanier. We were going to Divehaven but the weather is just too bad. I guess I will check my boat out and set up for a mid week dive at cocktail cove and head out to one of the quarries next weekend.

Maybe Danny can take the sunfish out this weekend. That would be fun!!! :)

The hot weather is slipping away. :(

On the first dive my buddy found what looked like a oval shaped cast iron pot. I found a silver kitchen knife. When we got back to the surface my buddy said he wished he had a lift bag to get the pot. On the second dive I come across the pot again. We brought it up with lift bag (weight about 40 lbs). After inspecting it found it was a grill. Seen one bream near surface and one cat fish at about 35ft on the bottom about 18-20" half his body in the mud, when I touched it it swim away. At 35 ft you could feel the mud bottom and it felt like the mud was 40 degrees and the water at that depth was around 70.
