A quick note for those of you who dive in Lake Erie. I was diving out of Barcelona, NY this past weekend with Jim Herbert. Those of you who know Jim will be pleased to note that the South Wind is back in the water and is as comfortable as ever... still the best dive boat on the lake for my money.

Anyway, we stayed close to shore and dove the Boland and the Irving. Water temperatures were around 3 to 5 degrees... yes, that's right, it was cold. Visibility was very good. Promises to be a good year. The Boland and the Irving are now buoyed and Jim hopes to get markers on some of the trimix depth sites later this week.

The pool's open folks!
