Überlingen, Lake Constance, tennis courts diving area

On Saturday afternoon there was a fatal diving accident at the tennis courts in Überlingen. A group of six divers conducted a joint dive there. A 56-year-old diver from Reutlingen lost contact with the diving group for an unexplained cause. Some time later, the 56-year-old was found lifeless by another uninvolved diving group at a depth of approx. 50 m and recovered. On land, the rescue workers and officers of the Überlingen water police could only determine the death of the 56-year-old. An autopsy of the deceased diver was ordered through the responsible public prosecutor's office.

The Überlingen water police has started the investigation.
