Lake Bababu in Basilisa is a mountain lake surrounded in colossal walls of granite. A very steep coast and descent to the lake adds thrill and excitement to the Pinoy Adventurer.
It is a karst landscape, shaped by the dissolution of layers of soluble bedrock forming this 4 hectare sinkhole filled with rain and the constant flow of water from its aquifer, Overtime, a cave tunnel was formed connecting the Inland Lake to the Open Ocean
