I have an Armstrong 4 step swivel ladder. No more worries about taking off with the ladder down.

I mounted a Garelick 3 Step Sport ladder on the swimstep of my Skipjack.
Although I did trick it out with a custom hinge that allows it to swing into an upright position with a tug of an attached line.
I also placed some lead weight into the bottom end to reduce the "float" effect...made it much easier to climb after coming up from a dive.
Have had not issues with it....even with 300+ lbs (me and gear) climbing up it in choppy seas.
