La Jolla Cove Dive video - from 4/11/2010

Took some video this morning.

A large male sevengill shark has been seen twice in the area this past week - I was hoping to see him. No such luck.....

jridg: Thanks for a very nice video. I was first certified @ La Jolla Cove many years ago. I have not been diving there for several years.
Very nice to see the Cove so healthy and full of life.

Thanks all - the surge was challenging - you should see the 'cutting room floor'

I know what you mean! I have found that using a muck stick is about the only way to hold still when trying to shoot closeups, and when doing longer shots I just go with the surge and let it be a part of the video, trying to get the kelp swaying back and forth. Otherwise, the whole dive would be on the cutting room floor. LOL'
