Does anyone know if LaCocay opened again? I see on their website that they were supposed to re-open in December. Did that happen?

The above links have info on where the former chef is working as well as some discussions about Mesa 17 (which is in it's old location).

If you go through the restaurant forums I seem to recall there were other discussions about LaCocay. I never had the pleasure of dining there so i don't know what the fuss is about :06:

Thanks. I was hping that LaCocay was born again. C'est la vie. I'll try and find Rob when I go down this Saturday.

You can find Rob at the new beach restaurant just north of San Francisco Beach. It's called Palm Beach and Rob is one of the partners...food is of course fabulous and it's a really nice beach as well.
 
Thanks Christi. Rob made some of our earliest trips to Cozumel something really special.
