I'm leaving for Coz this coming Tuesday. Last Friday I decided to test my two light cannons and cycle the Nimh batteries. One light kept cutting off - once after an hour and twice more before it wouldn't light at all. The second light ran for over two hours and never flickered. The problem light has always had a shorter battery run for some reason. Anyway it was blowing fuses and swapping bulbs was no help. So I sent the module to UK explaining that I'd like to get it back before I leave if possible .... In the meantime, I went online and ordered a backup light cannon from Scuba Toys. The backup arrived Wednesday, and the module came back today (Friday) - so I'm all set. I use two lights for my video setup and one for my still setup - but I can't use both at the same time so one is free for my son to use as a regular night dive light or spare. COOL. THANKS to both UK and Scuba Toys for the fast service. BTW - UK products carry a lifetime warranty and they really mean it. There was no charge for repairs to the ballast - and they did not charge me for Fedex 2nd day air service - even though I offered to pay for faster shipping.

That's exactly what I experienced. When I contacted Larry and UK simultaneoulsy to get the warranty/replacement, the replacement from Larry was already in my hand when I got the reply from UK. UK must provide a very fast customer service, but Larry was a super quick....

i wonder if that excellent service will carry over to the philippines?

I purchased a Q40 while over in the states. When I arrived home in Australia the bulb all but exploded when I switched it on. Still waiting to hear from UK....

I think UK will do if you can give U.S. mailing address in any case. As I recall, Vie in Bangkok got the warranty service from UK before.
