On a recent trip to Belize I was about to dive in when I realized my Suunto D9's battery died.... Like any savvy diver I figured that I could change my battery myself. Despite the warnings not to change the battery yourself because it will leak and void any warranties, I tried and it leaked. Luckily I had a spare computer. When I got home I contacted Huisch and although the D9 I have is 8 years old and well off warranty they generously looked after my D9 and replaced it for a greatly reduced price. Considering I broke it and it was off warranty I think this was way above and beyond.
