Diving Liveaboards and Day Trips | Komodo Dive Center
Some information on our 2015 LOB trips.
Komodo is definitely one of the best diving regions worldwide and for my taste the best in Indonesia. You will not miss out on seeing sharks, mantas and all the other "big stuff". The currents are always present but when diving off a liveaboard you have way more freedom in choosing entry points and times. This means that your dives can be planned more specifically for you than off a day trip boat.
How we operate:
Here in Komodo we need to take safety very serious. Therefore we never take more than four guests on one dive guide. Also the dive crew is very experienced in the current affected waters of Komodo. Our crew will choose dive sites that are suitable for each individual diver and its experience level. This means that we do not mix beginners and advanced divers, we rather go to different entry points of the dive site. This will ensure fun and safety
Regarding LIVEABOARD CRUISES:
For sure the liveaboard option is better than doing just day trips. You get to see more remote dive sites and do not miss out on sunrise and sunset dives! Nothing better than a shark feeding frenzy at Castle Rock
Trips to Komodo and Rinca Island are included in every trip. You HAVE to see the dragons...
Other than that we can will provide romantic sunset watching and island trekking, cozy beach BBQ and free of charge night dives.
We will give you the best price for the boats, i personally guarantee that.
For you guys, our catamaran boat would be the best option for the 3N/4D and 6N/7D liveaboard cruise. It is big, comfortable and we have 5x AC cabins including 3x Double bed cabins each with private bathrooms. So you can relax in your own space and get away from the bustle of the boat.

Food:
We are fortunate to have three western trained chefs on the boat who will prepare 3-4 delicious meals a day. The food will be different every day ranging from traditional Indonesian to Asian fusion to western food. Our Chef Erick is our seafood and BBQ grill specialist while Frans is the master of the Indonesian food and soups! Head Chef Dimas is the gourmet western food genius and you will not eat the same meal twice (unless of course you want too!) For breakfast we serve a-la-carte eggs, pancakes or fruit salads. Fresh German bread with Nutella, Jam and so on will be available too.
Twice a trip we will arrange a cozy sunset BBQ on some of the most pristine beaches in Flores. Spoiler alert! Last trip for example we served “Sesame-Honey crusted tuna loins and homemade pasta! Every trip our chefs will add some new ideas to their wide range of signature dishes.
Trust us; you will not lose weight on our safari trips!
We also have a fully stocked bar, with a selection of wine and spirits, for those nights you might wish to relax under the stars and enjoy a drink (or two).
