Koh Lanta Accommodation

My wife and I are headed to Koh Lanta for a few days during the Christmas/New Year holiday. I realize that's not a great time to travel, but that's when her office is closed so....

I'm looking for a place right on the beach. I'd like to do a couple of day diving trips, so proximity to a decent dive shop would be a plus. I aim to spend up to 4 or 5000 baht per night.

I looked at Agoda, Trip Advisor and Travel Fish until my eyes watered. Too many choices.

Any recommendations?

Yeah. I like Narima Eco Resort. There's a branch of a good dive shop right on the premises--ScubaFish.

Excellent advice made by Quero on both accommodation and dive center. Scubafish has actually an outlet at the Narima.
You may also try and look into the Pimalay. Coincidentally, Scubafish just took over the DC inside the Pimalay.
