Hey guys. I was given a KMB-10 band mask. Only problem with it is the sideblock. I plan on using it after I get out of diveschool. Any ideas where I could find a place to either repair the side block or where i could find a rebuild kit for it? thanks.

Send it to Kirby Morgan in Santa Maria California.

It is considered a vintage mask..KM #8 was the first one, then 8-1/2, 9, & 10. May be advisable to have it repaired and sell it as a collectable.

I just guessing, but I would imagine the parts for a KMB 18 would work.

You can contact KM or go to their web page http://kmdsi.com/Support/SupportMain.html and surf around. There's lots of good info there.

or

Give Diver's Supply in Gretna, La (across the river from New Orleans) a call.
Divers Supply, Inc. they should be able to help you.

I have been out of the business for a long time and KMB 10s were getting a little long in the tooth back then so it may be better suited as a collectable depending on its current condition. I have an 8 1/2 myself and the people at Kirby Morgan suggested that it should not be used but I keep it in shape anyway. It was barely used when I purchased it and I just had it as a backup so it is still in very good shape.
