Here's an interesting story about the killer whales off Argentina.

Killer! Whales hit the beach to hunt - Science - MSNBC.com

The only problem with this story...they say that only seven killer whales in the world hunt this way. I guess they have never heard of the killer whales off the Crozet Islands in the Indian Ocean. Infact there is a PBS special called: Killer Whales: Up close and personal. This documentry chronicles this local pod off the Crozet Islands and the filmmakers are able to get in the water with these orcas to film them hunting seal lions on the beach.

There is a Youtube video available showing killer whales in the Antarctic creating a wave to knock a seal off an iceflow into the water for them to eat it.

Seems like the news media needs to do some research on their stories.

They also rub on the rocks at Robson Bight in Johnstone Straight in British Columbia...I have seen more than seven do it.
As I have said many times before don't believe everything you read. It makes a far better story in the media if only seven do this.
