I am looking for anyone with ideas for a good kid friendly dive resort with lots of kids and activities? Please post any and all ideas.

I've never stayed at any of these but some I've heard about:

Atlantis, Nassau Things to Do | Nassau Bahamas | Atlantis Paradise Island Resort - they've got Dolphin Cay, Marine Habitat, other kids programs.
Buddy Dive, Bonaire Activities - others have said they have a good kids dive program.
Sunscape Curacao Resort (ex-Breezes), Curacao Welcome to Sunscape Curaçao Resort, Spa & Casino They had a trapeze and kids program plus the Seaquarium is a short distance away. There's a tank where kids can safely feed sharks, rays etc. (there's a perspex window with small holes in it) Also the Dolphin Academy. I'm pretty sure a 10 year old can do some of that. There's the Ostrich Farm also.
Beaches Provo (Providenciales) Turks/Caicos. http://www.beaches.com/main/tc/tc-activities.cfm

Downside of Atlantis and Beaches is it's all boat diving. Stuart Coves is the dive operator for Atlantis but they're a 45min. shuttle ride each way. Bahama Divers or Explore Scuba are on/near Paradise Island but are smaller operations. All the better diving off Provo is at West Caicos or French Cay - a 45min. ride on a fast boat.
Obviously you could shore dive on Bonaire or Curacao - Curacao also has a lot of nice beaches - most are also shore dive sites. The one limit with Sunscape will be that their operator is Ocean Encounters and they have a strict 12 yr. old to dive rule from what I've read.

When I attended the most recent MIDE (Malaysia International Dive Expo) show in Kuala Lumpur last July, I learned about a scuba program focused on kids, but in which the parents also participate. It's called "Kids Scuba" and they organize trips for young divers and their families. I believe the participants are likely to be mainly Malaysian and Singaporean, but since both of these countries mandate English language courses in their school curricula, I think communication would not likely be a big problem. Because the diving here is outstanding, everybody wins! They've been to some pretty nice areas such as Bali and Sipadan.
