Khao Lak for possible DM

Hi folks, travelling just now, want to do my DM, also want to do Similan liveaboard, suddenly realised doing a DM with Similan liveabaords might be the most economical way to do both. Any recommendations for Khao Lak dive shops? Have looked at Wicked, Sea Dragon and Phuket Dive Safaris. Other option for me is an internship down in Phi Phi. Any thoughts? (I already checked, couldnt find recent feedback on all of these companies, and things change over time!!!)

Hi Martin - I dont know about the other companies you mention but I have heard only good things about Seadragon. Another company I highly recommend based in Khao Lak is IQ divers.

I drove with sea dragon, liquid, and SeaBees, All were good. They all in khao Lak

Hi, thanks for feedback. Seems many rate Sea Dragons very highly.

Have also looked at Wicked, has anyone got any experience or heard anything about their DM course? The info I have read sounds great.

And what about Diving Similan Islands: Similan Diving Safaris - liveaboard, day trip diving and snorkeling trips to the Similan Islands in Thailand, they say they are offering 30 Similan dives as part of the DM course, which is absolutely loads! Anyone got any experience?

I can second Sea Dragon too. They do two DM packages depending upon how many dives you have got up, and the training is done on liveaboard trips.
