Dove with Rainbow Reef (RR) this afternoon. Very nice people and competent crew. Great Capt (Scott).
All the way north to Elbow Reef. First Mike’s Reef; second dive City of Washington. 6 of us with one guide in the water (Brian); 6 with another. Big boat with lots of room.

Visibility was about 50ft. Slight to moderate current; water temperature 85F. 55 min boat ride (). Other than that, great.

Mike’s reef was nice but very shallow (30 ft in the sand). No big animals. Saw one green turtle, others saw an eagle ray. Big hogfish, reef fish, and lots of parrot fish. Very pretty reef and an old wreck.

Second dive was a wreck—City of Washington. Interesting. No big animals other than a couple big barracudas. One Nassau grouper. Several large blue parrot fish, one sand diver; several large lobster; various juvenile reef fish. A second shallow reef. 30ft in the sand.

Diving with Sailfish Scuba tomorrow; Spiegel Grove with RR on Monday. Diving French Reef and Christmas with RR on Tuesday.

Kinda nice not doing a drift dive (like we always do in Palm Beach—“Dive, dive, dive”). Here in the Keys the boat parks, you jump in, swim around, and swim back to the boat. No need for a DSMB. Very relaxed.
