I typically stay off the island, so I head into Miami for topside activities.

I'd recommend Sharky's to eat. I love that place. Fish tacos and a frosty glass of Hop Gun Ale. Mmmmmm......

For breakfast, Evelyn's Restaurant and Denny's Latin Cafe are good and quick.

We like Shipwrecks Bar and Grill after a morning dive which is next to the Horizon and Silent World boats. Unfortunately it is a little north of Conch Republic.

After a night dive, we are fond of the Tower of Pizza (the one in Key Largo - NOT the one in Islamorada) for pizza and beer.

We liked The Fish House over The Pilot House. Going to have to try some of the other recommendations above.

Paddling in the park is a nice way to spend an afternoon.

+1 for Fish House and Hobo's

I also like Snook's and Marker 88 (the outside seating). Marker 88 is bayside so you can watch the sunset.

+1 for History of Diving museum too

Conch Republic is a great operator.... This will be a bit of a change from Gulf diving.... enjoy!!

Or eat upstairs in the Galley if you want to get away from the smoke and noise, same menu, same drinks, yum :)

Forgot about M 88 - definitely a nice place to watch the sunset.
