I will be in Okinawa on 29-31 oct. We want to dive in Kerema islands and stay somewhere close to avoid hrs of boat ride from the main island. Any suggestions for dive shops and accomodation?

Hope to see hear from you soon,
Ayca

I'm interested what you find out. I didn't know that there were any dive shops actually based on the Keramas.

There are about 10 shops with accommodation in Kerama. We have stayed at Ocean something. The food is great. The evening (unedited) video is too long though and it feels rude to leave before the owner is done... Great diving though.

Sea Sir has a shop out on Zamami. I've never been at that shop but have been satisfied with their service on Okinawa honto. They have a small hotel as part of their shop out there also.

To get there, you'll need to take a ferry from Tomari Port (in Naha) out to Zamami. I'd suggest contacting Sea Sir

SeaSir shop is on Aka-jima not Zamami. They have a pretty nice set-up on the islands. There are plenty of good shops on the islands but very few with English-speaking ability so you need to know a little Japanese when you stay out there.
