We are planning a four week trip to India in october, and I hear the Andamans are not worth going to until november-december due to the monsoon.

Has anyone been diving in Kerala? Good diving? Visibility etc? Dive center recommendation?

Thanks!

:) Tina

TBH I dont think there is any good diving in India, I didnt see one dive operation in all the time i spent there.

Bubblemonkey was right in 2006! not anymore plenty of dive sites many waiting to be explored in india

Wow, pretty old thread to dig up mate.

There has been recreational diving offered in India for 15 years now. But indeed, the past 5 years has seen a boom.

And yes, there is a guy offering scuba in Kerala now. Started in 2008 and dives inland quarries/lakes.

Almost all Indian centres are registered with PADI.
India Scuba Diving has some info correct as of earlier this year.
