The
Keldan Video 4x are a true 6000 lumens and 5000k light with an accuracy of 82 CRI. Which means that the light has a truer color balance and the rated output is extremely even. The large wheel on the back makes them pretty easy to turn and adjust up and down. They are a bit larger than the iTorch, probably about he same weight in the water. You can change the light heads out for a blue or UV one. They are Austrian-made, so the build quality is better than the iTorch models, which are made in Hong Kong. Definitely a nicer light. But so is the price.
The controls on the
iTorch Venom 50 are good with 2 buttons dividing mode and output. Beam is quite good, but with a CRI of 72; so the white balance is not as good and may wander a bit. But not as easy to deal with as the Keldan. The remote control helps a lot, but keep in mind you'll need a separate control and sync cord for each light. That's going to add to their cost.
They are working on a high CRI 92 version, but it's still in prototype.
Another great light in the
Fix NEO 3000, which also has a remote and is smaller like your Solas. One remote can work 2 lights together, separately, or put them into sleep mode.
