I'm a Scubapro, Canon ambassador and I've been asked to make a documentary for German television about your kelp forests in the Pacific.

Can you help me with this? I am looking for a diving center that can take me to the impressive kelp forests. It would also be very important to have spots where there are lots of fish and animals. I usually document predators underwater but I don't think you have them or do you? What time of year is the best visibility? Can you recommend something? Thank you in advance and best.

Canada or the USA?

The kelp is seasonal here in British Columbia as is the visibility. Your best bet is the fall but that can have other challenges in terms of weather.

Although they aren't huge predators the local large cod species can get quite big and aggressive.
