Hi, I have a G5 in the ikelite housing and am taking of upgrading to G9 or G10. I like to at least keep my two wide angel and macro 67mm thread lens. Is it worth the upgrade or just keep the same setup.

g9+ shoots in RAW format; that could be a reason to upgrade if you do electronic editing

This link might help a bit. It compares all the Gx series cameras.

With the G9 you will be able to use your wide angle. I don't think that is possible with the G10 if you go the Ike route.
You can get HD movies from the G9, although still not HD video camera quality.
Image stabilization.. nice to have with the lower light under the sea.
G5 already has RAW, so no advantage there.
Probably the biggest advantage to an upgrade is the MUCH larger screen.
If it is just about picture quality and you are not blowing the pix up above 8x10 or cropping substantially, you are probably not going to see much value in an upgrade if you need to buy a new camera and a new housing.

Recommend you just buy another strobe instead. ;)

This is not objective, but I used to shoot the G9 and moved the G10 and am not looking back. Superior quality, still a bit slow on the shutter lag. Definititely worth the move to the G10 IMHO.

Check out the link for some pics taken with the G10 (currently with dual Inon strobes and an Inon macro lens).
