There's a thread asking about diving in Karimun Jawa island sometime ago but I can't find; seem accidentally deleted.
A friend of mine from Marine Diving Club - Marine Science Dept. University of Diponegoro, central Java sent e-mail. They will be conducting non-profit activity - Karimun Jawa Reef Check 2007 - 10 years aniversary of reef check program in Indonesia from November 9 - 15, 2007; for reef check, wreck dive, fun dive, hiking, wood fire nite ect.
Cost sharing for 3 days activities : Rp. 1,100,000 (approx. USD 125) for public or Rp. 800,000 (approx. USD 90) for student, includes: dive gear, reef check dive, wreck dive, accomodation, local transportation, reef kit, merchandise, ect.
I am not sure if the cost applicable for non-indonesian tourist. I'll check if anybody interesting. Or you can e-mail Andri Sembiring mdc_kelautan@yahoo.com
They have website Marine Diving Club - Ilmu Kelautan Undip but unfortunately in Bahasa.
