Hi All
Well after a long wait, finally we took delivery of 10 PRISM Rebreathers a couple of weeks ago.
Here are some photos of the training.

Had heaps of fun on the course, and now looking forward to just getting some hours up on the unit, and enjoying silent diving once again.

Cheers
Chris

Those are great looking units. How much does one of those retail?

DJ, I wrote a pretty comprehensive article about the PRISM Topaz.

You'll find another one by instructor Grant Graves there, and Chris will publish a PRISM buildup soon. Also plenty of links to websites relating to the unit. As well as most other rebreathers.

I only see that a $2000.00 is required for non-refundable deposit..it says with the balance due upon delivery....

I cant find what the balance is...anybody..anybody..Bueller.. :)

Hey Jep's Course was
plenty of Theory and lots of time splashing round in the pool followed by
4 shallow ocean dives 40-50ft 40-60 mins each
2 Deeper dives 80ft 50 mintues each

My main reason for buying the unit is to work up to deeper 260ft+ type diving. I just can't justify $200-250 in helium costs if I did these kinds of dives on OC.

Cheers
Chris

That's very cool! I have been thinking of moving over to the darkside for a little bit now. Never really looked much into the Prism..mostly the Drager or Inspiration.

Some say go straight to the CCR, others say, get experience on something like the Drager first to see if you like rebreathers in general.

thanks though for the above link and price info...I have visited the SMI website a couple times now...this is how it starts for me...hehe
