We took the light to the oil rigs last weekend. On a sony light and motion hc3. Our experience with the HC 3 has been less than desirable...we also have an HC 7 (much better in low light) However, with the new Nocturnal Video light attached we had a much better outcome than expected and in some cases had to point the light off center because it was too bright. We already use a previous model of the slx nocturnal and it preforms well. the new one is much brighter. And it has an optional hand mount. Very cool...We give it two thumbs up. Karim
