Hi everyone, im planning to get certified this weekend and going to paradise island in july to scuba dive, just wanted to read how you feel about diving.
 
I think that you'll find that almost everyone on this forum loves diving and has an extreme passion for it. I try to dive a couple of times a week on Vancouver Island. It's a bit chilly but comfortable in a drysuit, and there are tons of underwater creatures. If you have any questions about diving, the New Divers and Basic sub-forums would probably be the best place to find an answer.

I'm a little jealous that you're going to Paradise Island. I'm sure you'll love diving there in tropical waters! Have fun!
 
Paradise Island, Bahamas? If so, you may want to dive with Bahama Divers, they're just across the bridge. Stuart Cove's Dive Bahamas - the only other option - is 45mins. away via their shuttle.
