Sorry can't help with Maui ... the two north alittle bit.
 
Welcome and here is an idea re. Maui. If you are out of the Lahaina area look into a dive boat going to the Cathedrals. It is actually over near Lanai but worth the trip. The passage is beautiful and once you get there the diving is outstanding. You might run into a large pod of dolphins during your crossing. We did and were able to jump in (snorkel) and watch a pod of around 250-300 dolphins pass under us. Very Cool.
There is also a great shore dive up near Kanapalli. I believe it is called Black Rock and is near one of the big hotels. You can actually enter from the beach on one side of the rock and scuba to the beach on the other side. It is a BIG rock.
Check with the local dive shops and they will clue you in on where the best dive spots are. The water temp over there is significantly cooler than the Caribbean so be prepared.
