I just received a couple Deep 6 regulators today. Came with a couple extra ideas, Dry Bag and Tee Shirt. Thanks Deep 6 for the free stuff. I've been servicing my own gear for a couple years now and I'm still alive a couple hundred dives later. I only serviced my own Scubapro S600, Mk25 and Air2's gear. I wanted to moving away from mainstream and head to a pure self service for personal reason. I found Deep 6 on ScubaBoard and they fit my needs plus my future needs of tech diving and side mount. I'm currently going to use them for recreational diving in the keys but hope to start training side mount and cavern/cave this summer. Here some pictures of what I received. Now I just have to figure out how to put it back together

they come in a pelican type of box??? That box itself cost some money :)

From the picture, the 2nd stage look very much like HOG classic stage stage.

that they do!

and yes, the second stage from a mechanical standpoint will go together just like the hog classic, it has the upgraded plating, poppet *brilliant btw*, and an updated case design, but it will go together just like the HOG second stages. If you don't have the manual, before they were written, we were using Apeks ATX manuals on them

first stages from an assembly standpoint will be identical to the HOG D3's and the Apeks DST manual should get you really close for assembly until the manuals come up for Deep6 unless you can get the HOG D3 manual which will work fine

Yes, Pelican case with all the foam, service kits for everything, free shirt, dry bag and free shipping. We ordered four and received 33% off. So they cost $250 shipped. One scubapro mk25/s600 with the same finish cost that much.

Thanks for the reference on the manuals, that will come in handy today.

in there. you want the ATX2 for the second stages, and the dst-ust for the first stages. The HOG D3 manuals are most ideal until the Deep6 manuals come out, but those are a bit tricky to find on the interwebs

It appears Deep6 made this regs nearly fool proof. The 2nd Stage was simple to reassemble and the only part you can get wrong is the orientation of the barrel, but you quickly realize this as the holes for the pin that secure the knob would not be accessible. The 1st stage went back together just has quickly.

Tools Used to disassemble and reassemble:
1 1/2" Hook Spanner
1st Stage Handle
Hose Wrenches, 15/17mm
20/21mm Wrench for the DIN. I'll have to double check the exact size.
4, 6, and 8mm Allen Wrenches

For Testing:
IP Gauge
Magnehelic

Thing for the future:
O-Ring Picks
Christolube
1 Quart Ultrasonic Cleaner

I'm glad to see that you got your order. I happened to be at Deep 6 that day helping out. I packed your order. I live here in Florida on the east coast. Enjoy your Deep 6 gear.
