I just don't log dives
We got in late last night from our trip to Guanaja. I am loading and starting to work on the video and trip report.

I can tell you that the diving was outstanding. The underwater topography was amazing...lots of cracks, swim-throughs, swim-unders, etc. The soft and hard corals are in great shape and the fish/animal life is abundant.

More to come as I shake out the cobwebs and get back in EE.UU. mode.

Better than Roatan and Utila? That's always been my assumption, but never spoke with anyone who had actually been there.

Let us know about the lionfish there also, please.

Looking forward to your report.

Uploading the video from our dive on Bayman Wall 7/6/2013. It was a good dive the structure is really awesome.

@kellyash: there are lionfish but not covered up with them like some places. I commented to George at G&G's that they really need to start killing them. We saw a few on each trip. The Jado Trader had lots of them...they prohibited much penetration into the wreck. We just didn't want to swim through a cargo hold with 50+ lionfish. We did all but two dives on the north and west side of the island and saw large and small lionfish but not concentrated in large numbers. It would be good to begin taking them out now before their numbers get out of hand.

Uploading the video now. I'll make a new post with the link when it's done.
