It was a great experience, and can't wait to get out with my family and friends to explore the open water.
Got my training done in Monterey, and although the water was cold I was happy to discover my wet suit kept me rather warm. Visibility was pretty low for my last dives, because of rain and storm run-off, but it was still a blast.
Stepped on a halibut which freaked me out, but I am sure it freaked the halibut out more. Also saw some sea otters, and some seals on the surface, but visibility was too poor to seem them underwater. Oh well next time.
The one thing that surprised me was how thirsty I was after all my dives, I literally could not stop drinking water. I know the compressed air is dry, but didn't think that it would effect me so much.
