Hello All,

Still relatively new here, but I thought I'd share that I'll be heading to Curacao for a week in August with my (soon to be) new wife. We'll be staying at Breezes and are definitely planning on diving their reef and the Dive Bus reef next door. We'd also like to do the dolphin dive.

Is there anything else that we must do on our first trip to Curacao? Thanks.

Hello MadMaxEsq,

First of all: Enjoy.

To do:
Rent a car a few or more days and explore the island.

With the car visit some beaches and make dives at Portomarie and/or Cas Abao.

Dive the Superior Producer wreck on a calm sea (= deep dive !).

Other nice dives are Tugboat, Lagun, Playa Piskado at Westpunt and many others.

Enjoy your stay.

K.

Dive Bus definitly, Eric's ATVs or the dune buggy tours are a great way to see some of the island you may not normally get to. Also, if able to get to the west end. Playa Kalki at OE West is a great dive. Finish by stopping at Sol Food for pizza. Have fun with your plans.:cool2:

With a name like Mad Max, you'd expect him to be 4 wheeling. We'll forgo the thunderdome dual.
If you like mountain biking, rent from Dasia Sport. There are trails that start almost across the street from Breezes. Definite agreement on The Dive Bus and Eric's ATV!

We are going to Curacao a bit before you, staying at Breezes and diving with The Dive Bus for a week...I'll post up a report, pics, and whatever else is (or isn't) relevant when we return.

I am sure it'll just make you want to go sooner!
