So I am here to dive The Mermaid for her 25th birthday. But we are hoping to sample one or two other dive sites (shore). Does the area have any other commonly visited sites I can check out? If so what can you tell me about them?
Thanks!

I've never heard of anyone diving it so maybe it has a curse on it or something, but I've always wanted to have a look at the USS Huron (formerly USS South Dakota), a 500' WW1 Cruiser sunk near the cement-hulled ship breakwater. Wikipedia says it's only 80' deep. USS South Dakota (ACR-9) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Overheard some divers discussing that actually. Sounds like they have been there.

Sounds interesting, although there's probably not much left if they stripped it to the waterline first and it's been sunk for 50 years. I'd be up to try diving it.

Dove Octopus City this morning. Should be renamed Nudibranch City. HUNDREDS of hooded nudis, massive Leopard dorids and yellow dorids, giant nudis and what i believe were opalescent nudis. Photos to come soon!
