Hello scubaboard! My name is Rob, I live in Maryland, and I'm new to scuba diving. Got my PADI open water certification at the end of June this year, and have been on one dive trip so far, to Aruba! The diving in Aruba was amazing, so much nicer than the murky lake where I did my cert dives. Haven't purchased any equipment other than the basic fins/mask/snorkel, but have been doing some research here. Next dive trip is in November to Crystal River, FL to dive with the manatees! Going to see if I can get my Advanced Open Water then too. My GF used to be an instructor, so I've got a great dive buddy to show me around!
