I dove with @CosbySweater on Mini Day 1 and his excellent report is { Here }

Almost the same 68 degree conditions but we decided to go deeper at 95ft since that's where everyone was seeing bugs. My 1st drop was great, Bugs friggin everywhere, it's looked like that live lobster tank in the super market with them crawling on top of each other. Plenty of eggers and a few shorts to push to the side, but I pulled 8 nice bugs in 25 minutes and stabbed 2 lionfish. 2nd tank (on a 3 tanker trip) and my mini season ended in the 1st 5 minutes with my limit of 12 plus a Lucky 13th over the limit bug since I'm in the FWC lionfish Challenge and that's one of our free reward prizes we get.

I brought “Walking Tacos “ for everyone on the boat for lunch (Its fun-youtube it, you'll see.) I know many people hate mini-season, but I've never missed it in 25 years I've been diving, it's so much fun.

Next up is the big ScubaBoard Goliath Aggregation dives August 22nd started by manatee diver {in this thread}. If you like to smile and laugh, Every Diver's Invited, it ain't a club. That trip will sell out quick.
