Looked like a gorgeous day to be diving on the Island. The colour of the water in the shallows along the shoreline made it look almost tropical.

Could have been, but it looked like it was one solid piece without a separate lid. Maybe it was so heavy because they filled it half full of lead. I don't know if it fell right in front of the octopus den or if the octopus was determined enough to drag it home. And yes, it definitely was tropical-like. It wasn't the clearest I've ever seen in the Inlet, but it was one of the brightest dives I've ever done.Looked like a gorgeous day to be diving on the Island. By the way, that self-portrait picture on top next to the photo of the stone steps was taken about 100 feet deep so it gives an idea of how bright it was.

They're all starting to look the same to me. I can only swim so far with that timer without passing out.
