Two good dives yesterday. We went to the Chattahoochee Red Marker 8 again and found 20' viz at 35 to 40 foot depths. Surface to thermocline viz was 10 feet, but viz from 21' to 25' was only about 2 feet. Saw an umbrella rig on the bottom that looked to be new. Enjoyed looking around.

Second dive was about 100 yds. off Six Mile marker 1. This is an interesting spot. The tree spacing looks like the area may have been a park or light development. There are a couple of steep ridges which are kinda cool to explore. We'll be checking this spot out again for sure. Best viz was about 15' at the 35 foot level.

The thing I noticed most yesterday was the water did not have a lake smell. It seemed really clean.

Thanks for the report. I'm going to try to make it to Two Mile Creek tomorrow morning around 8:30 a.m. to get in a dive with my drysuit. I am supposed to meet a friend at the gun show at 12:00 today and I didn't want to rush myself to get back this morning. We all rush in our lives enough, diving should be relaxing and fun.

Not quite today. I'll make it up there up tomorrow afternoon, if the rains hold off. It will be brutal putting the dry suit on in this heat, but I'll bring some ice to cool my head off before I hit the drink.
