Hey all, sorry for the delays but here is some info on the NACD 44th Annual World Seminar weekend. As in the past, we will have our annual social on Friday, November 2 at Ginnie Springs. This event is open to all who register for the seminar and to all NACD members. Come and join us from 6PM to 10PM for refreshments, music, camaraderie, and supper on the grill. The social has been a success in the past, and this year will be no different.

On Saturday, November 3, the seminar will again be held at the Lake City American Legion located at 2602 SW Main Blvd. Come at 8AM for some coffee, to talk with vendors, and to socialize. Speakers will begin around 9AM and include the following:

Annette Long – Water Conservation,
Brian Kakuk – Bahamian Caves,
Hal Watts – a 50 Year Retrospective,
Kelly Jessop – the North Florida Springs Alliance,
Larry Green – Tips and Techniques, and
Bill Lester – Recompression Chambers.

As an organization, the NACD focuses on Safety, Education, Conservation, Service, and Exploration. You will find some of each of these attributes to this year’s seminar. Also, we will have our annual members meeting on Saturday during the seminar.

On Sunday, we will wrap up the weekend with the 6th Annual Rebreather Workshop.

We are grateful to our sponsors and vendors which include Dive Rite, Hollis, Oxycheq, Green Force, Shearwater Research, Blue Steel Cylinders, Ginnie Springs, and the North Florida Springs Alliance. Thank you and we appreciate your continued support! You help make the seminar a success.

To register, please go www.safecavediving.com. If you have any questions, pm or email me at the address below. Finally, if anyone wants to help during the weekend, let me know. As a volunteer organization, your help is always appreciated. See you in a month.

Hey all, I misspoke on the above post. I have copied a quote from Kelly Jessop, the NFSA Pressident that was on the CDF. I apologize for any misunderstandings.

"Clarification to those who have inquired. We are greatful to the NACD for extending us an invitation to this event,as well as the CDS,REACT and other organizations that do the same. One of the missions of the NFSA is outreach, and as such we are a nonprofit participant of these events. We are unable to be a sponsor because our funding supports the parks, and we are not a vendor. As always we look forward to seeing our members at these events, and hearing from the community regarding what we can do to make the park experience more enjoyable. Thank you"
