Jetstream and octo

Hi,

I'm interested in getting a Jetstream DR. I would like to buy an additional 2nd stage to use as an octo.
Can I have my dealer order an extra 2nd stage when I order my regulator setup so that I can have it set up for recreational diving.
I'd prefer to have the same 2nd stages for the primary and octo.

The Dive rite Jetstream is a Poseidon xstream 1st stage and a Jetstream 2nd stage put together.
The OPV is now in the 1st stage, is this the normal way the Xstream 1st stage is already setup? Or did Poseidon make this change specifically for dive rite?

are there any other differences between the dive rite and poseidon? My wife dives a Poseidon, so I was just curious about any differences.

Hi Mitch,

Thanks for your inquiry. The Jetstream DR is only available as a complete set (first and second stage), sorry about that. The second stage is an upstream, servo-assist valve and must be used with the Jetstream DR first stage so that if it builds pressure, that pressure can be released via the OP valve on the first stage (Jetstream regulators do not free flow in case of pressure as would a typical downstream regulator).

The Jetstream DR OP valve in the first stage was designed specifically for Dive Rite in the USA to my knowledge. I do not believe this change was made in Europe, or with Poseidon brand.

No differences between Dive Rite and Poseidon, with the exception of the OP in the first stage. Poseidon makes this regulator for us.

I figured that an octo for this particular doesn't appeal to your target audience for this reg.

I'll check into a 3000 reg and octo.
