Ok - after struggling to find a pair of fins that fit my feet I thought I'd post the dimensions for the 3 that I was looking at - The XL Jet, Turtles, and XXL Jet.

Here's the link to the data (not a review, just objective data)

Fin Comparison JETS/TURTLES

I'll post it here as well, it just looks nicer in the table view above - Plus the pictures are posted there ;-)

All dimensions are listed in inches

Foot Pocket inside dimensions Depth x Width x Height
XL Jet: 8 1/2*x 3 3/4 x 2 3/4
Turtle: 8 5/8 x 4 3/8 x 3 1/2
XXL Jet: 9 x 4 1/4 x 4 1/4

Blade Length from Tip of fin to toe edge of foot pocket
XL Jet: 13 3/8**
Turtle: 11 1/2
XXL Jet: 13 3/8

Overall Width x Length (at widest/longest points)
XL Jet: 9 5/8 x 22
Turtle: 10 x 20 1/4
XXL Jet: 9 5/8 x 22 1/2

* usable foot pocket space is more likely 8" due to the sharply angled toe
** Difficult to determine due to the way the XL Jet is manufactured

notes:
The Jets are much stiffer than the Turtles.
The Turtle foot pocket is must softer.
The XXL Jets foot pocket is much thicker rubber than the Turtle.
The XXL Jets and Turtles weigh approximately the same, without an accurate scale I would guess that the Jets are an ounce or two heavier.
Also while the Turtles are 3/8" wider, the Jets taper out slightly making the actual difference closer to only 1/8"

btw - I wear size 13 shoes, the XXL Jets fit when I wore my tennis shoes inside - I finally got a pair of XXXL High Tide Ranger Booties and they fit both my feet and Fins perfectly. Most other booties had too much "slop" inside of the XXL Jets

I hope this helps some of you trying to answer the same questions.

Just a note of "subjective" flavor now. . . a friend and I tested the XXL Jets and Turtles this afternoon - here's the findings.

The foot pocket of the Turtles is much more comfortable - conforms more easily to the shape of your boot. They are also much more flexible in the water, though you loose that "snap" which you get with the Jets. Because he was switching from a pair of very soft bladed fins he liked the Turtles (A lot - I think he wanted to keep them) and because I have been using the Jets for a couple of weeks getting my legs used to the additional strain they place on them I prefer the additional power available with them.

Part of our dive was in 4 foot shore breaks, I had a little easier time swimming into the surge returning from shore with the Jets, than my buddie did with the turtles, and had to wait several times for him to catch up with me, but both fins did admirably. They were only about 2 foot waves when we went out, 15 minutes later they had grown considerably, so we came back in. But with these fins it was not that difficult to hold position in the surge. And kind of fun watching the sand on the bottom getting all twisted up and tossed around.

I personally would have preferred the Turtles if I had started using them a couple of weeks ago (a lot easier on the leg muscles) but I think building up the muscles is a better choice. So end conclusion for me - Turtles make a great fin if you are changing over from split or flexible fins (which I was doing 2 weeks ago). They make the transition a bit easier to the "tug" boat style of fins that I would put both Jets and Turtles into.

One other positive note on the Jets - Had a friend tire out on a snorkel trip last weekend - about 20 minutes from shore. I was able to push him in and barely noticed the additional drag. I am really liking my new Jets. I believe our return trip may have actually been quicker than we took going out.

Of course without letting my legs build up to them and finding boots that properly fit they would have been much less desirable. Still a ways to go in the "leg" department, but I'm seeing quick results that I really like.

Hope the added info helps some of you in your decision making process.

Aloha, Tim

P.S. My Buddie wears a size 11-12 shoe - I wear 13's. Both fins fit with the proper boot on, but I could easily see them working for shoe sizes up to 14 for the Turtles and 15 for the Jets. (perhaps even larger for both of them)

* Additional note: I tried the jets with a soft soled boot - they were quite uncomfortable, I personally recommend a pair of boots with stiff soles - allows you to use your leg instead of your foot muscles for propulsion. plus you don't have to worry about what you are walking on either on the way to the shore.

P.S. If anyone else would like to send in their fin sizes - I'll compile them into the chart - thanks

Here are some updated pictures with all Jet Fin sizes and Turtle Fins in case you want to see a comparison.

Great Info, I have the turtles and Xl jets. I can't get my size 10 dogs with rock boots
in the jets but it's no problem in the turtles. I agree I like the turtles to.

Thank you kidspot. This post has helped me out a lot.

Great work!
