Jet fin foot pocket smaller than Slipstream?

I bought a pair of XL Jet fins that are USA made. However, the foot pocket is noticeably shorter than that of my XL Slipstream. I have worn a friend's XL jets in the past, and from what I recall, they were about the exact fit.
Did Scubapro update their XL size recently?

Jet fins are also made in Taiwan and have different sized foot pockets as well as stiffness. Is it possible that your friends Jets were not made in the US?

I compared my XL jet with my buddy's USA XL, and the sizes were identical.
Slipstream has a slightly deeper foot pocket. I guess my memory was off.
