I just learned yesterday, that Jeff Tobey, owner of Dive Scuba West and the Hudson Grotto has passed away. I don't know any of the details. His health had been failing over the years. He leaves behind his son, Christian.

Sorry to hear. My ex-girlfriend Cristina and I met up with Paul Heinerth at Scuba West so she could get a new wetsuit that would keep her warm during her long cave exploration dives in the Bahamas. It was the only time I was in the shop, but it was a positive experience.

Paul was the only good thing about that shop - ever.
Well, Danny, the guy who used to service gear was really cool also. I think he died 10 years ago or so.
