Java One Conference May/2006

Is anyone going to the Java One Conference in May that would like to go diving?

I'm hoping to dive before the Conference begins, but let me know either way, I'm booking everything in about a week or so. It'd be fun to meet some of you on here.

Where is the java one at? I am in the San Francisco area and willing to go diving most any weekend. We do most of our dives from shore, but know a few great boats in Monterey.

This is funny, but I can't find an exact name for the convention center it will be held at, unless the exact name is "Convention Center", but I'll be staying at the Diva Hotel which is supposed to be 4 blocks from "Convention Center". Diva Hotel is at 440 Geary Street, San Francisco.

Hope that helps. Well great, the conference is May 16 - 19th. I just thought I'd come in that Sat. morning & dive Sat, Sunday, and maybe Monday. And then start the conference Tuesday the 16h.

Shore dives would be great, I definitely don't mind saving the extra cash. I know this is early, I'm just trying to plan my plane tickets according to my diving plans.

I can meet up for a dive on Sunday, but the drive to monterey for two days is a little long. I will check with my club and get a group togeather. Should be able to swing through the city on the way and pick you up if you are not renting a car. As the date gets closer we can make more solid arangements.

Just found out at work they are planning on sending me. Don't know my schedule yet its possible I might have some dive time available - I'll check this forum and post more details as I know them.
