My Japanese girlfriend is doing her open water on Koh Tao and would like to have a Japanese instructor. Does anyone know of any good dive shops that could accomodate. Also a decent/not too expensive place to stay would be appreciated as well. Thanks very much.

Maybe Buddha View, koh Tao

Koh Tao Resort (rooms might be too much for you, but they do have a big range or prices)
Ko Tao Resort | The Tropical Diving Paradise

The dive shop is Samui Diving Services.

You can stay near by at Big Fish or New Haven for much cheaper and still dive at SDS

I work there, but I'm not pitching it because of that. I won't make any money off of it ,as I only teach westerners. However, I am pitching it because I think we have an amazing Japanese staff and the shop really caters to small groups and lots of customer service. I've worked at Buddah and love it there, and I know a few very good people at Big Blue, so I'm not disssing them. I just think SDS is the complete opposite of the all to common Koh Tao Factory problems.

When would it be? What month?
