Those are some interesting subjects, it appears as if your strobe really is working well with this camera. I've noticed you've refrained from wide angle, is it because of the water particles or because of strobe coverage or other reason?

Primarily because there is so much particulate matter in the water and/or lots of fine sand stirred up. Must be the time of year. Since I have been coming here I find December and January to be the worst months for consistently poor vis.
The strobe seems to be fine for the wide angle my G10 is capable of. Of course it can't match the UWL-100 I was using with my old Oly setup.
