Does anyone know if I can bring my Hawaiian Sling to Jamaica and spear lionfish while diving? I've searched the internet and can't find anything saying yes or no, if license is required, if dive op will allow it, etc. Sent dive op an email 2 weeks ago and haven't heard anything back (op at Couples Swept Away in Negril).
(Cross posted on Greater Antilles board).
Thanks!

You may find that a small lionfish pole spear is more convenient to transport than the long shafts of a Hawaiian sling.
